CONTENT 3: EXISTENCE
"I THINK ,THEREFORE I AM" from Rene Decartes' philosophical statement in Latin "cogito ergo sum" used by our lecturer as introduction of the topic "existence".This phase might have different definition to everyone,for me myself,it can be approach via few aspect.
First,it can be the cause of human 's survival.Eventhough human may not be the toughest creature on the earth,but we can overcome all the natural obstacles and challenges in this ever-changing environment .In addtion ,human being improves the standard of living by inventing new tool and system.The ability of thinking to find solution helps human in adapting the new environment,which is the main difference between human and other creatures and the ultimate reason why human being is sill exists and the population is keep raising throughout the years.
On the other hand,every creature is unique in the sense that we are different in the way of thinking.How we think can affect our personality,characteristic,point of view and ... which will mould each of us into unique individual. If everyone are thinking in the same way,so "I "does not exist ,because we all identical .In short,we are exist individually because we think in our own ways.
In other aspect ,as the nature power is incredible,if human being is compared to something as gigantic as the galaxy or something as tiny as the cell's structure,we are nothing but development by mankind has spawned huge impact on the earth.We cut off the tree to build sky-scraper, dig the earth to obtain nature resources, release harmful gases due to induatrial and domestic use of chemical,irresponsible attitude in handling the waste ...... We are destroying our mother earth with the name of development as long as we can make our own profit,is that the objective why human are exist?
